Update

Better layout, correct right-to-left and a smoother start

18 August 2026

We spent a round polishing the app so it feels clearer and works just as well no matter which language you read in. Here's what's new.

No more cut-off text

On some screens and languages, buttons and text could get cut off. We went through the app screen by screen and gave longer translated texts — especially in Arabic, Dari, Somali and Tigrinya — the room they need.

The right direction for Arabic and Dari

When you read in Arabic or Dari, the whole app now reads correctly from right to left: arrows point the right way, “next” and “back” end up where they should, and the text flows naturally.

A clearer start

The first time you open the app, you're now met by a calmer introduction: choose your language first, and then get a short guide to the chapters, practice, the test and the glossary.

Small but nice

  • The word panel is no longer hidden behind the tab bar.
  • In writing mode, the “Check” button is visible even when the keyboard is up.
  • Buttons and lists no longer sit behind the navigation bar at the bottom.

Update the app to get the latest — or try it for free if you're new. It is free to get started: you can read chapters 1–2 and take one full exam simulation without paying. Create a free account and get started in under a minute.
