Citizen Sverige is an independent study app that helps you prepare for the Swedish citizenship test — in your own language. This page explains who we are, why we built it and how we work.

Why we exist
Sweden is introducing a citizenship test, “Sverige i fokus” (Sweden in focus), as a requirement for becoming a citizen. For many people that is a big, stressful step — often in a second or third language, with scattered and unclear information about what the test actually involves.
We built Citizen Sverige to make preparation calm, honest and doable: clear chapters, real practice questions and full exam simulations, explained in plain language.
What we stand for
- Independent and honest. We are not a government authority. When something isn't decided yet — like the exact pass mark — we say so instead of guessing.
- Built on official material. Our content follows the same subject areas as UHR's study material “Sverige i fokus”.
- In your language. The app is available in six languages: Swedish, English, Arabic, Somali, Dari and Tigrinya.
- Fair to try. You can start for free — read the first chapters and run a full exam simulation before deciding.
Who we are
We are a small, independent team of developers and educators based in Sweden. We are not UHR, Migrationsverket or any government authority, and we do not run the official test — we simply help you get ready for it.
